Created from the digitization of original plans, the project Foundation Vasarely 3D permits to navigate in the architecture with three dimensional technology, available on the Internet and mobile platforms. The project orient itself on the architecture and some of the works of the Vasarely Foundation, the architectural center of Victor Vasarely, founder of the op-art movement, which is at the origin of an original production, a major component of French artistic heritage
The project is part of the call for proposals in 2012 for innovative digital cultural services, organized from the Ministry of Culture and Communication. the digital content affects both the architecture of the Foundation and its monumental works:
- The building and its surroundings, a luminocinétique architectural artwork, built and financed under the guidance of Victor Vasarely.
- The 42 architectural works, said "integrations", ceramic, anodized aluminum, etched glass, enamel, tapestry.
- Besides the art collection, the pieces of furniture (sofas and armchairs from Veranneman) and luminaires designed specifically for the Foundation.
- Photographs of the integrations in high definition (gigapixel).
This project aims to give free and multiple access to a true archive in three dimensions and capable of transmitting the conceptual dimension of the work of Victor Vasarely in the relationship between the work architected and the work painted for culture, education and research.
